Shipping Policy 

Thank you for choosing The Blush Book Shop for your romance reads! Every order is packed with care, and we strive to make your experience seamless from the moment you place your order to the day it arrives. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about shipping and delivery.

Shipping & Processing 

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days

  • All orders are shipped from the U.S.

  • Orders can be delivered to U.S. bases that are either domestic or international. 

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive tracking information

  • Delivery is between 2-10 days

  • Shipping is charged based on weight via USPS Ground Advantage. If you need expedited shipping please send an email and we can send a separate invoice for expedited shipping.  

Please note: Shipping times may vary depending on carrier delays, which are outside of our control

Lost or Damaged Packages 

  • The Blush Book Shop is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit and delivery.
  • If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim to resolve the matter.

Shipping Restrictions:

  • We currently only offer free shipping within the United States.
  •  PO Box orders will be shipped via USPS only. 

International Shipping:

📦 Customs Declarations & "Blind Date" Packaging

To comply with international trade and customs laws, all items inside your package must be legally declared on the shipping label by their physical material names.

  • The Bookish Content: If you purchase a "Blind Date with a Book" or a bundled gift pack, it will be listed on your customs form strictly as a "Printed book bundle including paper accessories." This keeps the surprise intact for you while ensuring your package passes smoothly through border customs without delays.

🚚 Tracking & Carrier Deliveries

All international shipments are sent via carrier-calculated shipping methods with tracking included. You will receive a tracking link via email as soon as your package ships.

  • Please ensure your shipping address is entered completely and accurately at checkout to avoid transit issues.

  • If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we will refund the cost of the items minus the original shipping fees.

✈️ No Surprise Customs Fees (Duties & Taxes Prepaid!)

We want your international shopping experience to be completely seamless.

  • Prepaid at Checkout: All applicable import duties, local VAT, and customs taxes are calculated and collected directly at checkout.

  • Delivery: What you see at checkout is your final price. Your package will be sent via Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) carrier services, meaning it will clear customs quickly and be delivered to your doorstep with no surprise fees or collection notices upon arrival.

Preorder Shipping:

  • If multiple pre-orders are placed within one order, the entirety of the order will ship once the last book in the order has been released. If you would like to have all your books shipped to you as they are released, please email us at theblushbookshop@gmail.com so we can send over a shipping invoice to cover shipping costs.💕
  • Please allow 5-11 business days after a book's release date for books to be shipped!
